DVSA Updates VOL With OCRS Risk Compliance Platform

DVSA Updates VOL With OCRS Risk Compliance Platform

Current use of the DVSA Operator Risk Compliance Score will change as of 31st March 2023 – the DVSA has announced. Presently, operators can access their company OCRS score and suite of other reports through the Transport Office Portal (TOPS)

This, however is set to change and as of the 31st March 2023 as TOPS will no longer exist. Instead, the DVSA has integrated the OCRS score into the Vehicle Operator Licensing Portal. This means that operators can now have all OCRS data at the same place as all other operator licensing information. Typically, the VOL is used to update fleet registrations, confirmation of maintenance information as well as applying for changes to their licenses etc.

This change no doubt streamlines the efficiency of vital reporting information required for compliant fleets. If you have VOL account, there is nothing you need to do as it will be updated automatically.  There will be link on the right-hand side called “your DVSA operators report.”

Operators and transport managers are reminded that the DVSA expect them to continually monitor their OCRS status and to fully understand the method behind how it is calculated.
