Middlesbrough Bulk Liquid Specialist Halcyon Reaches £25 Million Turnover
Bulk liquids transport specialist Halcyon Tankers has announced a major milestone in its growth journey, reaching £25 million in annual turnover as the company continues to expand its presence across the UK’s specialist haulage sector.
Since launching operations in 2017, the business has grown rapidly and established itself within the specialist tanker transport market. The company focuses on the safe and efficient transport of petroleum products and bulk chemicals across the UK using a modern tanker fleet.
Operating from its base in Middlesbrough, Halcyon Tankers has built a strong reputation for reliability, safety and technical expertise in hazardous and bulk liquid transport. The company operates a fleet of specialist tankers and HGV units designed to handle a range of chemical and fuel products, supported by highly trained drivers with ADR and CPC qualifications.
The £25m turnover milestone reflects several years of sustained investment in fleet expansion, operational capability and customer partnerships. Early backing from the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund supported the company’s initial growth phase, enabling the purchase of additional vehicles and strengthening its position within the UK logistics industry.
Since its launch, Halcyon Tankers has evolved from a small start-up operation into a significant player in the specialist road tanker sector. Within months of launching, the company had already established a growing fleet and secured contracts across the chemical and energy supply chains.
Today, the business continues to invest in fleet technology, driver training and operational infrastructure as it scales its services nationwide. With demand increasing for compliant and specialist bulk transport, Halcyon Tankers is well positioned to support manufacturers, chemical producers and fuel distributors across the UK.
The milestone reflects the continued growth of the company and the support of its customers and partners across the supply chain. As the logistics sector evolves, Halcyon Tankers remains focused on safety, compliance and operational excellence while continuing to build on its strong growth trajectory.
