Hultsteins expands their carbon reducing sales team in the UK

Hultsteins, the Swedish and UK diesel-free refrigeration equipment manufacturer has announced a new sales manager appointment aimed at expanding the company’s reach across the UK.

Mike Hunter joins the Hultsteins team, with an extensive sales career spanning over two decades in the commercial vehicle industry. He has a substantial sales background from building vehicle specifications and sourcing specified components in contract hire, to solution selling existing equipment for on-the-spot hire.  

Mike comments “I have already purchased Ecofridge for a customer operation. This gave me firsthand experience in the operation of Ecofridge along with experiencing their efficient aftersales service. It’s clear that diesel free fridge units are going to be the future and I am excited and looking forward to helping the team at Hultsteins to continue to grow their customer base of Ecofridge & Ecogen customers around the UK. “

Ecofridge and Ecogen products are gaining popularity with operators feeling the pressure to future proof their refrigerated fleet and help meet evolving sustainability goals. They utilise one engine technology by using the cleaner truck engine to power the hydraulic drive refrigeration unit instead of having an additional dirty diesel fridge engine. This is done by harnessing a small amount of power from the Euro 6 diesel, LNG or CNG truck engine VIA a live Drive PTO to power the refrigeration unit.
