UTS Fleet Teams Up With Queclink Wireless Solutions To Develop All-In-One Telematics

UTS Fleet, a specialist in vehicle cameras, transport software and tracking technology, has entered into a hardware partnership with Queclink Wireless Solutions to develop a video-enabled, all-in-one telematics system. The highly configurable solution will use the CV200 smart dashcam, fully integrated with the UTS platform, to deliver combined fleet and video telematics to all types and sizes of vehicle operators nationwide.

“We have already undertaken a number of successful fleet trials and full implementations, and we believe this AI-powered 4G device is unlike any other all-in-one camera in the marketplace with endless possibilities,” explains Rob Turner, Managing Director of UTS Fleet Ltd. “The reliable video capture, unrivalled tracking capabilities and advanced connectivity provides a hardware solution that is robust, cost effective and flexible. This means we have the tools needed to meet a diverse range of fleet technology requirements through a single system.”

In addition to the fleet and video telematics functionality, the CV200 offers AI detection features as well as the ability to add a choice of secondary cameras and connect with the vehicle’s CAN bus system. The CAN bus integration makes it possible to capture and share critical information including odometer and fuel level. It can also be combined with supplementary tools such as stolen vehicle recovery, tyre pressure monitoring and sensor monitoring.

“We have tried many different all-in-one camera solutions with varying success, but nothing has compared with Queclink’s CV200 device. It really does deliver as a complete video and telematics solution, providing a viable and highly effective alternative to dual telematics systems that are currently deployed in most vehicle operations. When integrated with our comprehensive telematics software, it provides a powerful fleet technology solution that can evolve with the changing needs within the marketplace,” adds Rob Turner.

Vernon Bonser, UK Sales Director at Queclink Wireless Solutions commented: “We are partnering with a growing number of fleet technology specialists based on our ability to deliver feature-rich and cost-effective hardware solutions that are underpinned by first-class technical and operational support. Working closely with companies such as UTS Fleet, we are using real-word, user-experience to push the boundaries of fleet and video telematics.”
